Mongolian update

So it's about time I wrote something. First of all, on a completely practical note, I have several more comics ready to go, but no easy way to get them on line (I'm not writing from my own computer right now). As you might have guessed from the title we've made it to Mongolia and my first impression is that Ulan-Bataar is the most delightfully, endearingly shitty place I've ever been. The city is basically one street, large parts of which are more or less literally falling apart. There are seedy parts of the city to be sure, but so far everyone has been so genuinely nice to us, which is quite a contrast to Beijing, which I'm glad I saw and have no great desire to ever see again. Tomorrow we try our luck at camping in our new, super spiffy camping hammocks. In theory we're good down to freezing, which we might have to put to the test since more cool (Shanti would say cold) and wet weather is forecast. Thanks to everyone who has commented or sent an email.
