Well technically I don't leave for another 10 days (depending on what a really pesky volcano in Iceland has to say about the matter), but I've finally entered my first travel costs, which are for my Russian visa (yeah, it's bloody expensive). Just for fun US citizens pay almost 3 times as much to get a Russian or Chinese visa as basically anyone else. We also have an application form which is twice as long (you know, because we're such a big security risk). I can't help but feel like I'm caught in the middle of a political pissing match, but since I can't do anything to change the situation, instead I've chosen the next best option, which is to bitch about it in my blog (isn't that what blogs are for?).

P.S. Wednesday's comic will be about half a day late.

Actually, I need to input my flight cost back to america, but I'll do that when I get back to Pdx next week.

Where is Wednesday's comic? I feel cheated now. I guess it's still technically Wednesday for another couple of hours, slacker. Also, both of you make sure to schedule time when you're in town to meet my livestock.

Yo, I thought we agreed that we'd put the costs up as we used what we got. I.e. Plane cost on the day we fly, visa on the day we enter country.
