The trip

For anyone who hasn't caught it yet, this summer Shanti and I will be the first cartoon rabbits in history to travel around the world. Above on the left you can see me holding a sign with our current destination on it and on the right the current totals of my travel costs and travel distance (even though Shanti is technically traveling even further than me this trip, I'm the only one doing the full circle). We'll be updating these as we go. I've also committed to publishing three comics a week till the end of the year, so you'll be able to follow all our adventures that way plus the blog entries.
The rules are simple, we are avoiding airplanes except to cross oceans and we're making a conscious effort to spend as little as possible. We're also going to film the whole thing, so after we get back you can expect a series of videos about our trip. The trip officially kicks off on 15 May, unless a pesky volcano in Iceland has something to say about it.
