Exploding plans

For anyone who hasn't caught it yet, I'm getting ready to travel 38,000 km (about 23,600 miles for my American readers), air travel is currently shut down for northern Europe due to volcanic ash from a volcano in Iceland and the first stop on my trip is bloody Reykjavik. If I miss that flight I might not make my train to pdx, and then my flight to Taiwan and on and on and on. I don't even leave home for a month and my plans are already screwed.

A month, hell, I'm supposed to leave in 3 weeks and at some point I need to book my train. I'm looking at boats now, which was my original plan anyway, but that means more time and more money.

If the volcano situation isn't better in a month, I think you've got bigger problems. The last time that Eyjafjallaj?kull went crazy, it lasted for 3 years (of course, that was back in 1821, and the worst damage was the fluorine poisoning of some sheep. But still!)

There's nothing wrong with Heineken.
