“In my comic everyone's a rabbit.” “I don't understand.” When you play a sport no one has heard of (footbag) and your other main hobbies include a comic about your real life as a cartoon rabbit, physics and linguistics, small talk can become surprisingly difficult. I was never quite sure when I was making mistakes with the language because no one understood me anyway. Of course I have the same problem in English and German.
